Residential attic insulation - insulation Szentendre

We carried out the insulation of a residential attic in Leányfalu. The customer chose one of the best solutions in the modern construction industry: closed-cell PUR foam. Insulation is becoming more and more popular on the inside of the roof plane, between the rafters, as it provides the desired thermal insulation extremely efficiently and results in significant energy savings, and it is completely gap-free and never moves. The icing on the cake is that it also waterproofs, so you are doubly protected against getting wet.

Insulating a residential attic is always more complicated: before starting the insulation, it was necessary to excavate the surface and remove the old insulation layer. Since the owner has started a complete renovation of the house, it is not necessary to remove the plasterboard covering. This preparation was a fundamental step, since it is not recommended to blow on the plasterboard - although we can - as the ceiling height will decrease.

The main advantage of PUR foam is that it minimizes thermal bridges and air flow, thus keeping the interior temperature stable and significantly reducing heating and cooling costs.

By using closed-cell PUR foam, not only thermal insulation but also sound insulation has been improved. This was particularly important, since the house is located on a busy street, and the minimization of environmental noise was also among the owner's considerations.

The technology used required precision and expertise, as the foam had to be evenly distributed on the surface in order for it to fully fulfill its function.

Overall, it can be said that the insulation of the residential attic in Leányfalu was an extremely successful project. The technology used provides excellent heat and sound insulation, which contributes to making the house more comfortable and energy efficient. Insulation is also becoming increasingly popular in the Szentendre and Leányfalu areas.
