Our new project in Germany, near Stuttgart, presented new professional challenges. During the project, a deep-ribbed "load-bearing" trapezoidal roof had to be thermally and waterproofed. It would have been difficult to economically and aesthetically fill the deep ribs with the 55 kg/m3 closed-cell foam used on flat roofs. In such cases, we usually lay eps strips in the rib spaces to bring the trapezoidal roof to a flat surface, thus enabling a flat and uniform thickness of insulation

The owner, who paid great attention to details, took the task off our shoulders and "ironed" the trapezoidal roof smooth with a Bauder insulation board before the insulation. This step not only improved the aesthetic appearance, but also made the price of the insulation much more economical.

The insulation of the 600 m² roof was carried out by two teams at an intense pace, and in just three days we finished the 10 cm thick layer, or the UV dyeing.

Upon completion of the project, the owner expressed his satisfaction and looked forward to further orders. The new foam insulation brought about a significant improvement in the thermal management of the hall, and excluded the possibility of getting wet. By carrying out the work quickly and precisely, the owner can look to the future with peace of mind, knowing that his roof is well insulated and provides reliable protection in the long term.
